    Research Interest

    I mainly do R&D on Image Processing and Analysis, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Machine learning, and Human-Computer Interaction, etc. One of my co-authored CVPR2008 papers won "Best Student Poster Award Runner-up".

    I am especially focusing on face recognition. Currently, I am leading a group focusing on R&D of face recognition methods and technologies, with about 10+ members in ICT, CAS, Beijing. We not only aim at academic fruits (e.g., publishing papers on IEEE T PAMI/IP and CVPR/ICCV/ECCV), but also are always ready to apply our technologies to industry by closely collaborating with companies in need.

    I am also personally interested in Cognitive Neuroscience and its discipline-crossing with computer science, e.g., biologically inspired CV/ML models.
