Research Interest: Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition especially on Face recognition and editing, Transfer Learning, Deep Learning, Weakly Supervised Learning.

Bio: Meina Kan  is a Professor and Ph.D supervisor with the Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She received the Ph.D degree in computer vision from the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT, CAS), and the B.S. degree in computer science from Shandong University in 2007. During 2011, She has studied in Centre for Multimedia and Network Technology of School of Computer Engineering Nanyang Technological University. She has won the  1st Place of IEEE FG'15 “Point and Shoot Face Recognition Challenge (PaSC)”, 2nd Place of IEEE ICCV'15 "Apparent Age Estimation Track of ChaLearn Looking at People", and 2nd Place of IEEE CVPR'17 "Landmark Detection Track of Faces in-the-wild Challenge".  Besides, her research is / was supported by National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars and Beijing Nova Program.
